Our Shoots
Michael has been running Farndale for 15 years now, it has established itself as one of North Yorkshires finest shoots. A beautiful valley with panoramic views of the stunning North Yorkshire landscapes. We offer Grouse, Partridges and Pheasants and offer the rare opportunity to shoot all three in the same day. The weather plays a huge part in the days at Farndale and on the right day it can be truly breath-taking.
Black Park
The longest running shoot under Michaels management, after some 50 years Michael has Black Park really at its peak. Some fantastic drives such as Birk Head and the point are more than memorable and if you’re lucky enough to visit Roy’s you are likely to see drive a drive to rival the best on most shoots.
Place Newton
Place Newton is the youngest shoot to the group and has been under Michaels management for 6 seasons now. It has quickly grown under the new Head keeper Adam and his team to rival any of the local shoots for quality although the shooting is quite different to what we offer at Farndale or Black Park. We can offer partridge and Pheasant shooting from mid-September onwards with most days being a varied mix of pheasant and Partridge after September from Wooded banks, game covers and grass valleys.
