Place Newton is the youngest shoot to the group and has been under Michaels management for 6 seasons now. It has quickly grown under the new Head keeper Adam and his team to rival any of the local shoots for quality although the shooting is quite different to what we offer at Farndale or Black Park. We can offer Partridge and Pheasant shooting from mid-September onwards with most days being a varied mix of pheasant and Partridge after September from wooded banks, game covers and grass valleys.
Place Newton offers consistently high birds and later season the Cradle drive can be more than challenging to the best of shots. The birds at Place Newton are more constantly high than our other shoots and once again by moving birds over long distance we are able to show some memorable birds that maybe don’t do quite what you were expecting them to.
